The Central Fraser Valley Fiddlers, have been promoting Traditional Old Time Music since 1973.  Although we call Abbotsford home, members come from Hope to Vancouver and range in age from the young in age to the young at heart.  Located in the Central Fraser Valley, which consists of Abbotsford, Chilliwack and Hope, this area of the Fraser Valley is enriched with agriculture, arts and attractions.  The Fraser Valley follows the path of the mighty Fraser River through this beautiful strip of land that extends northeast from Langley to Lillooet.

Our aim is to maintain and promote Old Time Canadian Fiddle and Folk music, through the encouragement of young and old alike, to develop their musical talents and give them the opportunity to perform in public, with weekly practices, monthly dances and other play-outs in the Lower Fraser Valley.  Check out our events and our performance schedule for more information. 

Though primarily a Fiddle Club, we could not succeed without our excellent back-up musicians on piano, guitar, mandolin, drums, banjo and bass.  We thank all our members and fans for their loyal support.

 The Central Fraser Valley Fiddlers is one of the earlier branches of  the B.C. Old Time Fiddlers Association  to be initiated and remains very active to this day.  Our Branch promotes Canadian Old Time Fiddle Music by providing entertainment to the community at various venues. 

Anyone with the desire to keep Old Time Music alive is welcome to join our Branch.

    Currently our membership consists of 70 Members - 40 who are musicians.
